Notable that they continue to use Naquin over Shogo against LHP. I guess Shogo v lefties is just not happening.

Senzel fits the current team’s needs like a glove, he will be welcomed back. Helps v LHP, helps in CF, adds a second backup infielder. Almost a perfect fit, I’m assuming he’ll be back for the homestand.

Off topic. But I am playing a card dice game called inside pitch. Playing the 76 Reds season. I use actual lineups for both teams each day. Through 153 games the Reds are 102-51. So ahead of the real life pace. I use another system to fast play all non Reds games. Phillies have 101 wins Pirates 100. So east division still up for grabs. Yankees clinched AL east already. Reds clinched NL West and Twins lead KC by 1 game in the AL west. Great fame. I highly recommend it. If anyone is into that sort of thing.

Today I’m giving the pitchers credit….they are pitching almost perfectly. Burying edges, changing speeds….we hit ball hard very early but they made a couple plays and we’ve not been close.

Still time though…they’ll keep changing pitchers and one of them won’t be on
