While Sunday’s games are still unplayed, a look forward to the next week’s schedules. I’ll include the Braves here because they are in a tight race for NL East with Phils, the loser of which would be a WC contender. If “at” doesn’t appear it’s a home series.

Reds - at Cubs (3) and at Cards (3). Off-day Thursday 9/9.

Pads - Angels (2) and at Dodgers (3). Off-days Monday 9/6 and Thursday 9/9.

Cards - Dodgers (4) and Reds (3).

Phils - At Brewers (3) and Rockies (4).

Braves - Nats (3) and Marlins (3). Off-day Monday 9/6.

On a good note, we miss Wainwright in STL. On a bad note, Jon Lester is probably waiting for us. [emoji58]

Yep, we are completely stymied by fifty year old lefties. Does the guy have grandkids?

Next 3 days are critical. Reds play Cards for 3 games, Phillies get the easier Rockies.
Reds really need to win at least 2 of 3 from the Cards.

Phillies really blow their game vs the Rockies, they lead 2-1 with 2 outs in the 9th, gave up 1B, HR, HR.

Mets blow a late lead against Marlins.
