That's assuming nothing wild is done with the draft in the CBA.

Picked a random draft - 2015

Pick 9: Ian Happ
Pick 10: Cornelius Randolph

It’s not just the first round, it’s every round, it gives you another option each round. Today’s game means absolutely nothing. Take the L Mr. Sanmartin!

At that point in the draft, teams are picking the player they like. They may make mistakes, but if they had a pick one pick earlier, they likely are taking the same player.

Every game means something. At least it should.

I want to thank each and every one of you for making he latter part of this season so enjoyable. I found RZ after a game in which the Reds' bullpen blew a late lead(Hembree replaced by DooLittle, I think) and I went looking for a forum to vent my frustrations. What I found was a board of some very passionate and knowledable Reds' fans who care about this team the way I have for the past fifty years. For all of those who have agreed with me and also for those who have disagreed, I want to thank you all for keeping me informed as well as entertained. I have learned a lot from you in the past couple of months. Most importantly though, my prediction of 83 wins is coming together.

I missed by 4.
I predicted 87 wins.

Suarez hit that last out hard and was couple of feet away from breaking .200 for the year. Castellanos gets to 100 RBIs and Joey misses it by 1. Givens probably killed any chance that the Reds will resign him next year.

Whoever thought that “reaching” the Mendoza line would be considered an accomplishment?

My how times have changed.

Appropriately, he didn"t. He can grin through his shame.

my prediction was wrong I thought Jose de Leon would win 20 and I thought Mike Freeman would hit 35 homers

You predicted 66 wins, Reds won 17 more than you expected and yet still you are the most miserable poster on here, which is saying a lot.

thanks another season of no playoff s,, be proud and at least we got to see osich pitch cant believe you live in new york,, because anyone in Manhattan is smart enough to know that an 83 win season is banal, mediocrity,,

Thought I predicted 85. Regardless, we both missed.

Bruce, don't feel bad. That's no worse than when I predicted Ted Uhlaender would rake at .320 plus and instead he hit a buck fifty nine

I feel crestfallen I really thought that Shogo would hit about 14 homers, but instead he is a worse hitter than Masanori Murakami

Missed this one at game's start, but Reds started 6 rookies today. That's the first time they've had that many since 9/28/2003 (Tim Hummel, Ray Olmedo, Dernell Stenson, Ryan Freel, Scott Randall, Wily Mo Pena)

Reds finished with the 6th best record in the NL. #FWIW

Say what you will about the final month collapse... this was by recent standards a much more fun and exciting team to watch than usual.

I think I shall call this 2021 team the Oreo team.

All of the good stuff was in the middle.
