My gosh, this is a nightmare. Two teams I can't stand. The good news is that one of them will be toast after tonight.

Who do we more want to see lose? As much as I despise them, that 17 game winning streak at the end of the season was pretty special. I might have to smash my head against the wall a few times and root AGAINST the Dodgers but the thoughts of the other team winning is not a pleasant one. Then again, a Dodgers/Giants NLCS would be epic and must see TV. Maybe I'll flip a coin to decide which team I hate more.

I think this game is a lot like a high seed vs low seed game in March Madness in a one and done scenario.

The lower seed plays looser as they are just happy to be here. The higher seed feels added pressure to NOT lose.

I think the Yankees were much more aggressive than usual and that cut down on the long at bats. Another big spotlight game tonight and the Manfred gang just lets everyone poke around and drag it out forever.

I used to hate the Dodgers in the early 60’s. I cringed when Fred Hutchinson came out with the lineup card and had to talk with Walter A before the game. Tommy Lasorda was the enemy. Then I went to LA IN 1980 to see a game at Dodger Stadium against the Padres. I ate a Dodger Dog, enjoyed the stadium’s scenery, and even got to see celebtries. It was a great time. I no longer loathed them, even though we didn’t play them much. I’m so glad they beat St Louis, my new hated team. And I’m celebrating with Devil Anse IPA. Might have two…or three!
