oddly enough, i still like what i've seen out of lodolo. i didn't come in with hunter greene expectations for him (like welsh did). he will be more than fine. i like his stuff and his poise. had a tough inning. still only 2 runs on the board though. i think he will be a very solid #3ish (maybe #2) starter for the reds for many years.

I’ve seen Hall of Fame pitchers have similar innings in the middle of their primes. Whatever Lodolo ends up being at the MLB level, his performance today will tell us basically nothing.
