Reynolds in the minors was primarily a shortstop. In the majors, has played around the infield including shortstop.

I think that’s why he’s with the Reds, to give them a backup infielder who can play short.

Didn't look close to me. These are big leaguers. The defenders make the play. That stuff works in high school where teh defenders aren't as good. In the big leagues, they are going to be out 95% of the time on a play like that. Instead Votto comes up next inning with no one on base. I despise that play.
