Tyler gets night off. Better score a bunch with Minor fly ball pitcher summer GABP.
We have tornado watches out all evening here. I'm near 3 hours away. But we get same weather as Cincy 90% of the time.

So with 3 switch hitters for AZ, they have 6 of the 9 batting from the opposite side no matter which side the Reds pitcher throws from.

I could easily see them playing just the one with both teams traveling after the game. And no chance the game ends up meaning anything in the final standings. If it's not played tonight. I would say both teams play 161 this season.
Hopefully it's played tonight. If not tomorrow. Reds would probably require two tickets. Which is just greedy. Because literally no one would show up for a unscheduled evening game tomorrow evening if they play split DH.

If Almora is playing…he needs to be in the OF. He is easily the best outfielder. His first step is that of Andruw Jones. He has OF instincts you can’t teach.

Yes, I think that is Bell's strategy to give the legs more of a rest to get more games in the hitting line-up. He did it within the last week also putting Drury at DH instead of Reynolds who was on the field.

And I love, love, love his fire. I loved Amir's fire, too, but that guy couldn't channel it properly. Almora is helping this team in ways not reflected by stats. If I'm the GM I keep this guy. Him and Votto know what's up :)

If this pitcher married Todd Van Poppel he would become Sean Poppen VanPoppel.

Or if Scottie Pippen married Sean , he would be Scottie Pippen Poppen.

ScoreboardStumper Answer:

Edwin Encarnacion (424 HR/Reds: 2005 – '09)
Paul Konerko (439 HR/Reds: 1998)
Adam Dunn (462 HR/Reds: 2001 – '08)
Frank Robinson (586 HR/Reds: 1956 – '65)
Ken Griffey Jr. (630 HR/Reds: 2000 - '08)

Got them all but Konerko took some thought

I got em all. Wasn't sure on Konerko but couldn't think of anyone else who had 400.

Anyone ever catch a ball at the ball park? I got one. Green seat batting practice homerun by Gene Tenace of the Padres. It was a blast.

The original Woo’er lives in Coalton Ohio….a sad suburb of sucky Wellston Oh, home of Royals great Jeff Montgomery. Coalton also home of Pat Duncan of Reds fame (his daughter was my elementary lunch lady). Coalton also home to Ohio’s longest tenured Governor James A Rhodes (his first job at Michael’s Ice cream….my family’s shop, home of the bubble. Coalton also birth place of Wayne Brown, founder of Big Bear…my first job.

There….all from the irritating drunk guy woo’ing

Why do the Reds have so many minor league pitchers working in the majors?

3. Burnitz Brewers BP HR
Hatteberg Oakland at the time BP HR
And last but not least live game foul ball off the bat of Astros immortal Anderson Hernandez ball was pitched by Reds immortal Micah Owings.
I always took my glove when I sat in box seats down the lines. Hernandez hit the foul ball hard it was knuckleing. I always pay close attention when sitting close. So I saw it off the bat. Some guy asked my name and couple innings later came back and handed me a certificate.
The Hatteberg ball was a soft high fly caught it barehanded.
Burnitz was a rocket. Got it at Riverfront. Off the green seat concrete wall first then off a empty seat and into my hand and it still stung.
Who wants a ball pitched by Nolan Ryan hit foul by Bench when you can have a Owings pitched to Anderson Hernandez ball?

I thought Montgomery was from Welllston ? I know I once played softball on a crappy field there named after him.

Why do the Reds have so many minor league pitchers working in the majors?

Because ownership doesn’t care about winning?

Reds had no chance in this one. Bad starting pitcher combined with an equally bad lineup. I hope some of these guys on IL can comeback soon because this lineup is really weak. Also have no idea what they saw in Minor. Fly ball pitcher in a home run park doesn't equal success.

My oldest brother got two. I have one of them. Home run ball off the bat of Davey Lopes from July 1, 1973. The other one was a bp home run off the bat of Dave Winfield at the 1988 All Star Game.

Why do the Reds have so many minor league pitchers working in the majors?

Because the 5+ ERA Mop-up guys who would normally be out there are on the IL.
