Only thing I can think of was that Farmer was approaching 2nd base just as the ball was approaching the wall, as he should have been, and had to glance down to be sure he touched the bag as he was rounding it, which turned out to be just the same short instant when the ball went from the wall to the glove. He saw the LF with the ball in his glove and throwing it back in and thought he amazingly made the catch and had to high tail it back to first to avoid the DP.

4-0 1.56 ERA I would say that was better than serviceable...

He's turned himself into a nice option out of the pen.

15 games. Allowed several inherited runs to score. Like Kal Daniel's said. Relievers are volatile. Got a ways to go to prove he belongs next season and beyond. Gets a solid trending in the right direction to be a serviceable bullpen piece for me so far. Not really worried about ERA for 15 games from a reliever.
