Hunter Greene is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment Thursday with the hope he can rejoin the Reds' rotation in two weeks.

Senzel, who is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals, is day-to-day with left hamstring tightness, the Associated Press reports.

Senzel will be on the bench for a third straight game while he tends to the injury, allowing TJ Friedl to make another start in center field.

A recent MRI apparently cleared Senzel of any major injury, so the Reds are seemingly hopeful that he won't require a stint on the 10-day injured list.

I iike the line-up today with the worst hitters at the 7 and 8 spots and a secondary lead-off type hitter in the 9th spot. Will be interested to see how it plays out if #9 starts off an inning. Great oppo approach by first two hitters today got them to both reach and a productive ground out got them a run.

Barrero is learning he is not getting better at hitting and may not have the talent to be viable in MLB. This is valuable for the organization to know.

I agree completely about Barrero. Thought it was foolish to promote him and still do.

As for Anderson, Luis Cessa, TJ Zuech, Robert Dugger. Anderson comes in as the number 2 or 3 starter.
