The reason I like listening to Votto much more is that he speaks his mind, and he's analytical in the way he speaks. Barry seems afraid to say anything original, but it does shed some light into what guys might have been like to play with, how they communicated. It's kind of funny to picture Votto speaking to guys on the other team :D

Yes, I believe any positive statistic goes to the pinch hitter and negative goes to the original batter, at least with the 0-2 count he started with. I'm not sure who the ground out would go to if the inheritance happens with a 2-0 count.

The PA belongs to the pinch-hitter unless he inherits a two-strike count and strikes out. In that case, the original batter gets the K.
