Luis Cessa to start tonight.

Mike Minor has most likely pitched his last game as a Red and Connor Overton is back

My wish from last night has come true with Cessa in the rotation instead of Minor. Makes this game much more watchable.

Mike Minor missed the start of the season with a shoulder injury and had a setback in April.

He debuted in June and posted a 6.06 ERA. He has a $13 million team option for 2023.

Overton made four great starts back in May, and the Reds can evaluate what his 2023 role could be.

Sept. 23: RHP Connor Overton reinstated from 60-day IL

Overton was reinstated from the IL after making two rehab starts with Triple-A Louisville, fanning nine and walking three over 7 2/3 innings.

The righty was on the IL because of a stress reaction in his lower back.

Overton, who last started on May 17 for the Reds, will be in a relief role for the rest of the season.
