I won't be able to be on the game thread tomorrow for the last game of the season as I have to take wife to a doctors appointment down in Virginia. So I wanted to take this time to thank Ron for posting the lineups for nearly every game this season. I find it just amazing, in a really bad season, for him to do this every day without fail. When he was just a little late with them sometimes I would actually get worried about him. Its easy to give up in a season like this but he has stuck with it. For being such a great fan I am giving him the unofficial Redszone Fan of the Year award. I would hope that anyone who has participated in these threads this year would take a moment and appreciate his dedication. Thank you Ron and lets hope for a better 2023. :beerme:

RZ has made ,what has otherwise been a very disappointing season, an enjoyable one. I have spent more hours following the Reds on here than any other medium. Ron, thanks for all the lineup information and dedication to the site and team. Thanks to all of those who have contributed to some very interesting discussions. I learn a lot from the posters on this site. Keefe Cato, I hope to see you back next season. I miss hearing your thoughts. I'm very thankful for this great online Reds' forum. Now, let's get two more wins and avoid triple digit losses. A loss to the Cubbies is NEVER a good thing.

I want to apologize for not being active a lot of late. I did away with my internet provider and so I am wireless(less) at the present. So I have to connect outside of home right now. I still read the game threads in full even when I'm not able to post in real time. I've really enjoyed participating in the game threads.

Makes me sick seeing the Cardinals year by year always with the goal to better themselves while our ownership tells fans " sorry we cant afford to win, but buy season tickets to get your free bobbleheads" blah blah crap.

I am writing Bob a letter about my frustrations of his ownership. I will be accurate and not condisending . I hope he replys to me. I hate losing, why has he accepted losing after promising he would make the Reds a winner again? I want to know what he says about this. I am 60, he is going to be 81. Winning a World Series should be on his bucket list. It sure would be my to do thing if i had his position..

Iíve been mostly away for a couple of weeks because I couldnít stand the weak lineups and pitching. Tonight was fun in a frustrating way. I was going to watch the last game, but turned it on and it was 2-0, but Chuckie was at bat and tied it up. Then, the magic of Steele walked it off. It made my day. Not much of that this year. Iím not hopeful for 2023. Sadly.

Cessa had 8 starts once he was stretched out. 41 innings, 3.51 ERA, 1.07 WHIP. Perfectly fine for BOR arm. He'd have inside track for 5th spot next year IMO. Man, the Reds could really use a veteran workhorse next year to slot everyone in right place. Greene,.Lodolo, FA, Ashcraft, Cessa/Overton could be quite good.

I agree totally. One thing that does excite me for 2023 is the potential starting rotation.
