With Thomas Downey facing a fourth and 40 from its own 40-yard line, it lined up from a standard punt formation, seemingly ready to surrender possession and dial back in for defense as usual.

Well clearly from that replay, it wasn't 4th and 40. The underhanded pass wouldn't have worked if that was the case. It was 4th and about ten. The sound of a punt is very distinctive. I don't see this working very often
