Mexico has an even easier group,.
There are 48 national teams in the 2026 WC, for the first time, up from 32. I think even Scotland will advance out of the group phase. I know I sound like an old curmudgeon, but the WC has gone downhill since they moved off 16 teams, starting in 1982.
Every single match was tough then because only the best teams qualified.
