College Volleyball Final Four... Anyone Else Watching???

Texas A&M beat Pitt in four sets and UK beat Wisconsin in a five set thriller, setting up an All-SEC championship match. I haven't watched much volleyball in the past but this was more exciting than any UK basketball game , of late. I was glued to my seat the whole match.

Wisconsin dominated the stats---had 12 more kills, 14 more digs, hit 100 points higher(.375). Mimi Collier had 32 kills, and the Booth girl, a middle blocker had an incredible 21 kills. Eva Hudson for KY just seemed to will her team to victory, with big kill after big kill late in the match. She finished with 29 kills. She's some kind of special volleyball player. Exciting sport to watch.

College volleyball is great. Wichita State has a pretty solid team out here, and I should go to the games more often. Always cheap (except for the beer prices) and entertaining.

Volleyball, along with tennis and gymnastics, is one of three sports where I think the women's version is superior.

Also, I would like to thank Texas A&M for preventing Dani Busboom Kelly from going undefeated and winning a national title the year after leaving Louisville. It's okay that she will win one there eventually, but going undefeated the first year wasn't going to be cool.

I watch it but I can’t say I follow it. When women’s NCAAs are on, I’ll watch those.

My older daughter played CYO and club volleyball. Great athletes and excellent volleyball.

My hero... I tried the same in mixed bowling leagues. I struck out... in a bad way.
