Haven't kept up with the wrestling scene for awhile now, but when I did watch it, The Hart Foundation seemed to be the tag team to beat.

I loved Nikolai Volkoff and the Iron Sheik. I would stand when Nikolai sang the Soviet national anthem just to annoy whoever I was watching the match with

Original Demolition was great (wasn't a Crush fan) and they still have the greatest entrance music

I also had a soft spot for the Conquistadores for some reason, can't explain that one :dunno:

there has been a lot but my top five would be

1. The Midnight Express, with Jim Cornette

2. The Rock and Roll Express

3. The Wild Samoans

4. The Road Warriors

5. The Moondogs (Vince used them as underneath guys, but in the other territories, their sheer violence was unmatched)

That's gold . Were you also partial to their rivals, Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda?

Yeah, Demolition were pretty much a wrap by that point.

Similar story to The Sheepherders who of course became The Bushwhackers in WWF.

Joe: i saw him. We had a nice conversation. He looks great.

Marty: Always good to see Scott.

There are some great picks in this thread. I'll guess I'll go ahead and give some of my picks:

The Fabulous Kangaroos
Mark Lewin & Don Curtis
The Blonde Bombers (Ray Stevens & Pat Patterson)
Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens
Mr. Fuji & Prof. Toru Tanaka
Steiner Brothers
Road Warriors
Rock 'N Roll Express
Midnight Express
The Freebirds
British Bulldogs
Demolition
The Hart Foundation

A few before my time but due to their ability, influence and/or drawing power I had to include them.

Seriously, Roddy Piper and Ric Flair

I didn't know they tagged.

Sgt. Slaughter and Don Kernodle was a very successful tag team that held some tag belts and had a great feud in the Mid-Atlantic area with Steamboat and Youngblood.

Demolition is getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
