Also, the Finnish women's hockey team is suffering from a case of norovirus and they are postponing some of their games.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN (CURLING) MIRACLES?!

Team USA defeats reigning gold medalists Italy to reach their first-ever mixed doubles GOLD MEDAL GAME.

I watched a guy run a sub-six-minute mile pace ... uphill ... on skis

while I ate a Reese's Blizzard from Dairy Queen (with extra Reese's)

Speaking of curling, what are we to make of the Canadian double tap?

If he wasn't getting an advantage he wouldn't be doing it. Sounds like a lot of the canucks do it, men and women. I highly doubt they don't realize they are doing it like they are saying. Give me a break.

As someone who pretends to know anything at all about curling during the month of February every 4 years, I'd love to know what kind of advantage this gives. It can't just be power, right? Because, to me, it seems like there's a lot of finesse that goes into the throws as well.

To me, and I am in the same boat as you, it is like a small course correction.

When is the big snowball fight that determines the overall champion?

US v. Canada for the gold in women's hockey this afternoon. Men's hockey survives in OT to advance to the semis.

Fantastic win for USA! It was strange rooting against a coach and player from the
Lightning and cheering for bitter rivals like Tkachuck.

The first USA goal by Boldy was an all timer. On a solo run he splits two Canadians by flipping the puck in the air and tapping in to himself and faked out the goalie on the shot, shooting it so slowly. It was a great display of skill against a team that historically believes they are more skilled than their USA counterparts. We won with style.

What a goal. What a game by Hellebyuk - just incredible stuff.

Crazy that the Hughes family has 3 boys that were all first round draft picks. Sheesh.

The Canadiens were the better team all game, they took the play to the Americans all game, but if you have a hot goalie that stands on his head, that can negate superior play. That said I think that for the gold medal game it should have been NHL playoff format 5 vs 5 play until a score,I hated the 3 on 3

The Canadiens were the better team all game

People keep saying this, but last I checked the goalie is part of the team. The US goalie is significantly better than anything Canada can throw at the US.
