I’ve been watching the ABA documentary on Amazon Prime the last couple evenings and Moe only makes a couple appearances (and he looks pretty bad in them). I’m guessing his health prevented him from participating more.

By the way, the documentary I’m referring to is phenomenal.

I must have not got that far yet. I watched the first 2 episodes over the weekend and he wasn't on. I wondered if he were still alive and I googled him and he was then. Is it just me or did he bear a strong resemblance to Christopher McDonald a.k.a. Shooter McGavin?

Coincidentally, I was looking online at some Virginia Squires (ABA) memorabilia the day Moe died, because my dad had seen them play at the old Norfolk Scope arena. Moe played on a Squires roster that included Julius Erving and Charlie Scott, and just missed playing with George Gervin, it looks like.
