I currently have 3B Aramis Ramirez on my team.

Eric Hinske is on the free agent list and I read that he is to come back next weekend from hamate bone surgery.

Would you drop Ramirez and pick up Hinske a day or so before he comes back? I wish I could drop someone else on my team to pick up Hinske, but really there isn't any room to drop someone else. What would you do?

Categories for hitters are:

R,H,1B,2B,3B,HR,RBI,SB,BB,K,TB,AVG

I would keep ramirez. He's starting to really heat up and hinske probably wont get back in the swing of things for another week after he comes back.

Thank you both for your replies. I'm really torn on this one. On one hand, I think Ramirez will continue to stay hot and play well. On the other hand, I look at the Jays offense and how it has exploded recently and picture my third baseman in the 5 hole in that lineup and I can't help but think he will put up really solid numbers. Hinske had 18 doubles and 21 RBI in 44 games while he was injured. I wonder what he's going to do when healthy. Hinske also steals a base or two, and walks a lot more than Ramirez.
