I hereby officially announce the 2005 TeamCasey Dunce Award.

I just got back from work. Got there. Made coffee. Started reading my 150 emails. Something felt weird. I was the only car in the parking lot, but that isn't unusual because I go in so early.

Still felt weird.

Called security and asked them if today was a holiday.

It is.

I'm home now.

I'm an idiot.

Why is the 3rd a holiday?

Josh I saw that, in fact that site hasn't been doing much at all for me (except costing me a few bucks every month) I'm currently thinking about trying some drink coasters and maybe playing cards.

I'm not too interested in the selling of them individually as I am in creating a Line that could be sold to a larger company for production.

Anyway, thanks for the order, now I have to buy some more Laminate for the Bookmarks.

Carrying one of those around, full, all day can sprain your wrist. Around noon it becomes a battle - how do I drink not necessarily fast enough, but at such a rate that the stein is, on average, less than half-full for the entire day (while refilling said stein at the Warsteiner cart every time it runs dry)?

Coming up with an acceptable solution is crucial to surviving Oktoberfest celebrations.

The derivation of the word stein comes from the German word steinkrug which means stone jug.

Roy took 4 years of German in HS (and 2 more in college). It's about the only thing I remember besides all the German drinking songs.

My HS senior year, my Deutche teacher was a total babe (she has just graduated from Miami U.). I joined the German club just to hang around her. We'd go out for coffee and I'd call her by her first name. My girlfriend was jealous as all get-out. Like, poisonous voodoo bad mambo icepick the tires kind of jealous. While on vacation I statted out four levels of a dungeon with < 380 keyed encounters and ~45 action-determinent encounters. And I painted 3 minis - a griffon, a hobgoblin sorcerer, and a paladin of St. Cuthbert.

Good work Z :D

I've been on vacation for 3 years and have accomplished half that ;)

We start with a midget with sharp teeth and make him the ball. Then we play midgetball (basketball, full contact style, on trampolenes). The midgetball can bite, kick, yell "weeeeeeeeeeeeee" and the like, and the players shoot him into a 8 foot high giant basket.

Here’s a semi midget story that I am sure I have told before, but oh well.

Back when I first graduated from college I worked on a psych inpatient unit.

Once a month we would have a dance for all the patients. Staff had to go. If a patient asked you to dance, you had to say yes (self esteem issues and all that crap).

I’m 6’2”.

The men who asked me to dance were usually about 5’6” or 5’7”.

Think about it.

Red Leader
01-03-2005, 03:37 PM
What about a life size Midget foosball game?

So 4 midgets have to be tethered by their hands to a pole that is 5 ft high and across the width of the gym and can only use their legs to kick the ball.

The "twist" is that every 45 seconds the pole they are tethered to rotates 360 degrees so their feet will rise off the floor to the upside down position and then back to how they started.

They have to wear viking helmets.

Hey Super_barry, and for anyone else that cares.

A friend of mine called me last week. He had been in NYC and saw a musical called Brooklyn. He said the show wasn't that great, but Idina's original understudy was the lead female in this show. Her name is Eden Espinosa and he said her voice was inbelievable and right on par with Idina's. Check out the lin below and click on the song "Once Upon A Time". I think you'll enjoy very much. Did I ever mention that my wife and I bought a cat about 3 years ago? We had him for 18 months and found he wasn't suited for our lifestyle. He was a beautiful cat, a chocolate point himalayan, and we named him Guenther, but he had a problem, well a couple of "problems" but one major one...he didn't cover up his business when he went to his litter box. He would go and just leave it lay on top. Then if we didn't clean out the litter box after EVERY time he went, he'd just lean his butt in the box and poop down the opening and most of it would be on the floor in front of the box. He also needed to be brushed constantly because if you didn't brush him and he drank water, his fur would get all matted. Long story short, we made a stupid decision in buying him, should have done more research before we bought him, but we gave him to a nurse at a doctors office my wife visits who has another himalayan.

My wife just called. She went to that office today and the nurse asked her: "Did you know Guenther poops under the Christmas tree?" My wife laughed and said no. The nurse said "yea, every single day that I had my Christmas tree up, that cat pooped under it." I told my wife "the best thing we ever did was give that cat to someone who could love it, because I would have abused that thing if it would have pooped under our tree everyday." :MandJ:

Another reason I prefer dogs.

Ya' know, I'm afraid that a large percentage of the Reds fan population is setting themselves up for HUGE disappointment this season. I'm not trying to insult anyone and I do think the Reds will be marginally better, but I also know that the team could be better and still win the same amount or fewer games. They outperformed their expected record by a lot last year and I don't know if that's likely to happen again.

I just think there's going to be LOTS of disappointed Reds fans this year, because the general concensus is that they are going to be pretty good.

I think they have improved to a .500 team. Which, to me, means they could end up anywhere from 77-85 wins. I don't think this a playoff team, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they end up in fifth place in the central.

But let the kids have their fun - they'll yell at us for being negative, i.e. realists, they'll scream at us that Josh Hancock and his 4.5 ERA last year was "for real" and that Joe Randa and his .765 career OPS is above average, and then, when we are right in the end, they tell us it was all injuries and bad luck.

But we'll know better.

We need some midgets on the roster, thats all I sayin'

I enjoy playing darts, and I actually go through a stage I'm sure many do...I drink and drink and drink and I get better and better and better, and then that one magical beer happens and I drink it and I'm flat out awful at darts from then on out. I'd like to test that at the gathering.

Anybody else think this show won't last more than 6 weeks?

Stick to sports ESPN, leave the crappy sitcoms to the other guys.......and poker is not a sport! :dflynn:

News of the day, which you didn't hear from me:

Machado apparently tore up his knee in winter ball. Not sure how bad it is, because he's having visa problems trying to get to Cincy to see Doc K. He's supposed to be here sometime this week to have it evaluated though. Let the Larkin rumors fly!

:)

So, my project at work didn't go so well. It's not bad, but it's not even close to what I wanted to do. I had other work thrown at me about an hour after I came in, and that cut into the time I needed for the project.

Oh well, it's done now and I'm not going to worry about it anymore. At least not for the next half-hour. :)

Good luck! Hope it turns out better for you than it did for me. I skipped all dentists appts for about 4 years. Finally went in Nov., and have been back once since then. I have at least three more appointments, possibly more.

Amazingly, I didn't have any cavities though.
