Ya know, I'll bet fish who are caught and returned are a lot like people who are abducted by space aliens.

You're swimming along, minding your own business, hanging out with your fish buddies, and lo and behold, a big fat juicy worm.

So, you do what any fish would do, you chomp down on it. And "HEY.... Whoa!!!!" .... up you go to the mother ship. And they prod you, and photograph you, and pass you around to the other aliens, and finally after scaring you half to death, they return you to the place they took you from.

And then you tell your fish buddies what happened, and they're all like "yeah, sure" and they talk about you behind your back and now you're that crazy fish who believes in life above the water, and stuff.

Define "we."

You asked for it ...

Main Entry: we
Pronunciation: 'wE
Function: pronoun, plural in construction
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English wE; akin to Old High German wir we, Sanskrit vayam
1 : I and the rest of a group that includes me : you and I : you and I and another or others : I and another or others not including you -- used as pronoun of the first person plural; compare I, OUR, OURS, US
2 : 1I -- used by sovereigns; used by writers to keep an impersonal character

34. Nearly everything you say involves the word, "P-toing!"

35. You argue with yourself about which is better, to be eaten by a
koala or to be loved by an infectious disease.

36. You like to sit in cornfields for prolonged periods of time, and
pretend that you're a stalk.

The FAA requires that you have at least 40 hours of helicopter time before they'll give you a Private certificate. In practice most students take much longer. New pilots have to learn all the rules and regulations, how to read charts and understand airspace, how to talk on the radio, how to navigate when on a cross-country flight, and how to fly a helicopter.

Cricket is a team sport for two teams of eleven players each. A formal game of cricket can last anything from an afternoon to several days.

Although the game play and rules are very different, the basic concept of cricket is similar to that of baseball. Teams bat in successive innings and attempt to score runs, while the opposing team fields and attempts to bring an end to the batting team's innings. After each team has batted an equal number of innings (either one or two, depending on conditions chosen before the game), the team with the most runs wins.

Cricket Equipment

Only the BATTER (called the BATSMAN in cricket) and the WICKETKEEPER (cricket's term for baseball's CATCHER) are allowed to wear protective equipment on the field.
The Batsman wears leg guards , batting gloves, and can also wear protective equipment under their clothing to shield their chest, upper thigh (the one facing the bowler, or pitcher) and crotch area. He can also wear a helmet, especially against fastballs, but often wears only a cap when the slower bowlers are on.

The Wicket Keeper also wears leg guards, more padded and bulky than "batting leg-guards". He also wears wicket-keeping gloves, which are really two sets of gloves...an inner one of soft cotton, and an outer one of heavily padded, rubber, leather or vinyl...calculated to heep his "catching hands" un-bruised through several hundred pitches ! Some wicket-keepers wear other items. such as helmets or body protectors, but this is not yet the norm.

Any bars on the hill - yup been kicked out most of them (44's, Sutters, Maggies, and yes Faegans). We didn't go to Faegan's alot so the chances it was me you saw getting kicked out were slim, although entirely possible!

13 people are killed each year by vending machine's falling on them.

Would you care to guess if at least 13 guys lose a family jewel thanks to baseball bouncing incidents each year?

Two men in West Virginia stole a refrigerator from a new home. First, they banged up the walls and ceilings moving the item out of the house. Then, when they got the refrigerator into their truck, they got stuck in the mud and decided the refrigerator was too heavy. So they put it back in the house, only to return to a running truck with locked doors.
