Pedro's signature got me thinking.
I thought Emo was great. What happened to him.

Louis Black is my current favorite. His Daily Show bits are hit and miss - mostly hits.
He had a special on Comedy Channel before the election that had me laughing out loud. Kicking myself that I missed him when he was at the Taft.

Mo Rocca is very clever. He was on a daytime talkshow - Laura Ingraham maybe - his wit had her amusingly off guard.
Was on a cable news program about politcal humor. Didn't know what to do with him.

David Alan Grier is another who has a great routine.

Love Dennis Miler and his running metaphors.

Back when Eddie Murphy did standup, he was fantastic.

Jerry Seinfeld still does great standup, as does Ray Romano.

Larry the Cable Guy is hilarious, although some of his material can get rather offensive, so I've soured on him a little.

I also like impressions and Frank Caliendo is the best at this, IMO.

Mitch Hedberg, without question.

"No matter how hard I practice at tennis, I'll never be as good as a wall."

Just saw Seinfeld in Vegas and he was awesome.

Great article about Bill Murray in the January 10 issue of Time.

I thought this quote from the article comparing his movie work to that of other comedians mentioned here was really on the mark.

While Eddie Murphy toils in kids' movies, Steve Martin keeps remaking his remake of Father of the Bride and Robin Williams plays psychopaths as restitution for the saccharine sins of his Patch Adams period, Murray has not only remained funny but has transcended funny.

And Lenny Bruce is probably the all time greatest.

If you can find his book "How to Talk Dirty, and Influence People", please read it.

It might just change your life.
