That is sad. I had a friend die in a somewhat similar manner. He was climbing from one window to another in a hotel. Still breaks me up when I think about it.

I almost did that at a New Year's Eve party in downtown Cleveland a couple of years ago. Had unscrewed the window with my leatherman and was about to climb out when someone pulled me back in and slapped the :censored: out of me.

We were 12 stories up. I've always maintained that that guy saved my life.

crazy thing my friend was only on the 3rd floor. he was a big guy though and just hit wrong.
