Q: How can I post on RedsZone.com?
To post at the RedsZone forums (http://www.redszone.com/forums/index.php?), you must first sign up as a new user. Besides not being able to post messages until registered (http://www.redszone.com/forums/register.php?), there are other things you can't do while you are unregistered - primarily, you cannot read any threads outside of The Old Red Guard.

Q: How can I get one of those pictures under my user name when I post?
To get one of those pictures (called an avatar), you must have posting privileges at The Old Red Guard.

Q: How can I donate to RedsZone?
You can donate to RedsZone by clicking here (http://www.paypal.com). We currently accept payment through PayPal only. Our PayPal address is gik24@redszone.com

Q: I am having problems with a feature on RedsZone, who can I contact?
Email us at webmaster@redszone.com.

Q: I am having problems with another user on RedsZone, who can I contact?
We suggest that users handle these sort of issues PRIVATELY, either through the board's private messaging system (http://www.redszone.com/forums/private.php?) or email. If you have unsuccessfully tried that route, we suggest adding the user to your ignore list (http://www.redszone.com/forums/profile.php?do=editlist) so that you do not see his or her posters. As a last resort, you may contact an administrator or moderator (http://www.redszone.com/forums/showgroups.php?) and we may be able to offer some assistance.

Q: Who made that cool logo for RedsZone?

Our primary logo (http://www.redszone.com/forums/images/logo.gif) was designed by one of our posters westofyou (http://www.redszone.com/forums/member.php?userid=101). Thanks, WoY!

Q: How do I connect to RedsZone chat?
Click on the link that says 'chat' on the far left of the site's navigation bar.

Q: What are good fan forums for other MLB teams?
Please see this (http://www.redszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42579) thread.

Q: Can reputation feedback be discussed on the board?
For the reasons mentioned in this (http://www.redszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43963) thread, all reputation matters should be handled privately, unless public feedback is sought via a thread started by an adminstrator discussing the topic.

Q: Why cant I see chat?
There is currently an issue with some skins not working correctly with chat. Change your skin to RedsZone (http://www.redszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22880&styleid=7) and then try chat.

maybe we could include a short "history" or statement of "philosophy" of the site. Or simply posting guidelines.

To promote intelligent discussion of baseball and especially Cincinnati Reds baseball ...

or something like that. and maybe the "rules" or "posting guidelines" could be posted here in some fashion.

I guess I just missed it. I moved $25 over to my PayPal account on Friday only to check the FAQ today for subscription mechanics only to see it went to $28.

I snoozed, I losed.

PayPal is now moving over an extra 3 bucks.

Not to sound ungrateful, because I'm really not, I enjoy being a subscriber and helping out the site, but my question is with the rate increase will there be any added features for subscribers in the works?

Nothing has been approved right now, David, but Boss and I are talking about a few things we could do.

Do you have any suggestions?

Not off the top of my head, but let me think about it.

The ability for subscribers to delete their own posts might be a possibility.

Wow, that could lead to a scene like when Godzilla walked into Tokyo. Mass fear and confusion followed by people saying things that don't match up with their lips...

Something like that ;)

I don't see how that feature would add to the board

Maybe we could eliminate the 20 second rule. :allovrjr:
