RA must have threatened to jump the team or beat up Freel...if he was not put in the lineup.

I mean......come on.....for once i would like the same lineup for at least 1 week straight. Can never happen with this team.......beacuse of injuries and flat out stupidity by Miley.

Not that Kearns is tearing it up right now, but he's batting .232 as opposed to .200, and with Kearns, he could just turn it on at any moment....he has more upside and more defensive range.

With Pena gone, Kearns should be getting playing time - Aurilia's role should be depth and backup now the Lopez has earned the starting SS job

This is a complete and utter joke. What the hell did Rich Aurilla do to deserve being on a MLB roster, much less starting.

At their respective numbers RIGHT NOW, Kearns is worth over 30 runs per 600 PA's then Aurilia this season.

Yes Yes and Yes. The only way to turn out of a slump is to see more PAs. This is one of the main things that drives me batty about Miley.

Playing Houston doesn't feel the same with Bagwell out of the line-up. I noticed that he's been DLed for a while now with a right shoulder sprain, and having seen him play up-close in April, you could tell it was causing him some serious pain. Anyone read about his future with the club? Could his career be over?

Yep, so far. Two weakly hit balls (Taverez & Self) and then a called strike three on Biggio. Went to 3-1 on Biggio before getting him. The called third strike was borderline (kind of low and outside), but was identical to the called strike 2 on Freel when he was at 3-1 in the count (consistent ump).
