Based on that then either Narron thinks just like Miley or he doesnt want to change things because he doesnt expect to be here long. Ill take both

Sounds like conspiracy theory stuff, but I wouldn't rule anything out with this organization

Same freaking lineup.

Firing the manager is supposed to change things?

How, exactly?

The lineups stink, but they score in spite of it...But I expected something to be different what with a new manager and all, and things look EXACTLY the same so far.

Narron must've been the one making the lineups.

Redsland

Marc has never posted a bogus lineup, and he states that this is tonight's, so I'll take him at his word.

I'm with Crash: A lineup takes a few minutes at most, and Narron has been on the job all day, and has had all year to ruminate on matters. His first lineup is a Milo, er, Miley, and I hate it.

And yes, it appears that Freel is still hurt.

Oh, I am thinking the worst.

I'm thinking that everything I didn't like about Miley's lineups was strongly influenced by Narron.

I'm scared to death that this team will pull a .500 record out of the hat for the rest of the season and that will be seen as a success and that will become the evidence DO needs to justify his "plan". That will ensure Narron's role will continue into next season.

I have decided since I can't change any of that, I'm going to give him a week :)

Stupid meetings!!

Seriously, as I stated in another thread, it would be foolish to think that the Bench Coach did not have a huge influence in helping with lineups. Therefore, I think we are in store for more of the same with Narron. In other words, Casey stays 3rd all the time, and Dunn is always either 5th or 6th.

But Aurilla second still? I don't care if he is hot, you don't give Rich Aurilla more at bats in a game than Dunn, Griffey, Pena or even Randa.

Brandon Claussen 53.7 62 14 0 9 4.02 6.71 2.00 5.01

He's been hit hard, as evidence by the 14 doubles, 9 hrs. His FIP also isn't particularly good. He's easily the 2nd best starter on the Reds, but that doesn't say much right now.
