Why am I not surprised?

Dunn did exactly what the #2 should do... and one day later, he's dropped to #7. Somebody's :mooner: should be kicked... hard!

From where I was sitting, the "experiment" was a huge success. I must be wearing different colored glasses.

TeamBoone

If they don't want him at #2, fine. But #7?

Narron and Miley: I don't like to think that either one is brainless, but when they both keep doing more and more to prove it, well, ya finally gotta believe it's true.

I'm so angry. I wish fans could punch them just once.

I feel like a prisoner, bound by shackles.

Geez, I can't even typed when I'm angry; had to come in and fix a few things.

Yep, until he does better this year would be my guess.

That said this team has bigger fish to fry with RA in the 2 slot.

When's Freel coming back?

Dunn batting second caused the skies to open up, rain to fall, and the double header tomorrow.

Dunn vs lhp in 2005 - .177/.283/.468/.751
Randa vs lhp in 2005- .267/.356/.427/.783
Aurillia vs lhp in 2005 - .231/.302/.385/.687

Dunn's still doing a lot better than Rich (not saying much) and OPS wise isn't that far off from Randa, although there is quite a differance in their OBPs. Griffey I believe is around .750 against lhp this year. Dunn, even with an .846 OPS over the last three years against lhp is the one who moves down in the lineup. Craziness.

How we lookin'? Catching up with the walking wounded in the Reds' clubhouse...

Ryan Freel, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with inflammation in the second toe on his left foot, still isn't ready to run, though he did do some fielding work at Great American Ball Park on Thursday.

It's doubtful Freel will be ready to come off the DL when he's eligible to, Monday in San Francisco.

"I'm just now starting to walk without any sharp pains," he said.

Yeah, problem is that Hudson takes a looooooooooooong time to warm up.

Although, with our rotation, you normally should have someone warming up in the 1st so that might just work out...

...But then, you might also need the guy warming up in the first to PITCH in the first so, then again, it might not.

So here's my horoscope for today. Since everybody knows I plan my days around this stuff.

Every now and then, the universe sends along a pleasant surprise -- for no particular reason, it seems. Happily, you're due for your turn now. Someone you haven't seen for what feels like a very, very long time is due to return to your life -- and not just for a cameo appearance, either. Whether or not they admit it right up front, they want to be back for good. Be generous. Pretend you didn't know they were en route, and allow them to do their dance discreetly.

I'm thinking it's a bill collector.
