In another month, he should be wearing another team's uniform

RedRoser

Yes he "should be," but should be's just don't seem to come around too often in this organization. :help:
Ray Olmedo and Ryan Freel can play 2nd base and give the team equal (probably better) production.
I hope we deal RA. Nothing personal, just like the younger guys better and believe they should play.

just as bad as Aurilia batting 2nd and Dunn 6th is Pena 7th - having two of your better, young hitters batting in the 6 and 7 hole is no way to win ball games now, nor is it a way to teach them to win ball games in the future.

Maybe the team would prefer to have veterans in the pressure slots in the lineup, and have younger hitters lower down. Maybe they think Casey and Griffey are more consistent than Dunn and Pena. Maybe they don't want all those strikeouts in the middle of the lineup.

Actually, I wouldn't disagree if Dunn hit higher up, but I just think there is too much emphasis on these lineup configurations. I think Narron's lineups arre reasonable. The Reds score plenty with this lineup.

These lineup issues are minor. The problem is pitching and, to some extent, defense.

I don't agree. Coffey obviously has been "sinkered" by the Reds staff coupled with fall ball, doesn't have the zip that would help his "inexperience" be dulled, but he has had his moments. Wagner has been injured and is a bit of a bull head in many respects.

I wonder if either can fit the organizational philosophy of 2 seamers and "pitch to contract" and both are full effort guys.

At this point, experience on the major league level and learning is key. Your ship sailed with Graves went down. Time to get on board of the new ship.

The KC pitcher threw at Guillen.....right at his head......CG gets up....get mad and walks toward the SP.

The SP is as big as WMP....so he does not exactly get charged at....CG waits for some backup. Then the SP taunts CG.....and the Tigers get pissed.

The announcers (Tigers PBP) are all over the SP for throwing at CG head....and his taunting.

KF body slams someone who is as big as he is.

Lance Parrish tells Castillo to shut up and get back to his dugout. He pushes him back towards the KC dugout. Jose Limas clams Castillo down....then does a peace dance.
