Aurilia batting a head of both Dunn & Kearns...

Just when you were sure it couldn't get worse, Aurilia in the 5 hole. The Man will be hitting cleanup shortly. Afterall, he does lead the team in batting average with RISP.

I saw that while looking at fox sports and I am speechless. Putting the slumping Randa in the two hole and Freel to the bench. Ryan better get used to it.

Narron: "I guess I gave up the wrong week to quit sniffing glue."

flyer85
07-22-2005, 06:18 PM
I guess if Kearns gets two or three more hits tonight he will be batting 9th.

This is like a nightmare that won't stop and keeps getting worse.

Austin didn't do too well hitting clean-up yesterday, so it's only logical to drop him in the order.

Gainesville Red
07-22-2005, 06:26 PM
Narron makes the line-up from alphabet soup or something.

flyer85
07-22-2005, 06:28 PM
Narron: "I guess I gave up the wrong week to quit sniffing glue."or maybe to start sniffing it. Seems like a serious lack of brain activity may be the problem.

Tony Cloninger
07-22-2005, 06:29 PM
Why bother complaining anymore.........Narron is old school and the veterans get the best positions in the lineup. It's like Grandpa Simpson makes the lineups.

Tony, Tony, Tony, you have been around long enough to know - this is RedsZone, it's what we do.

Tony Cloninger

I know.....but in the 1970 WS i had a dead arm....yet i never complained about taking the ball from Sparky. Look where that got me....out of the leauge by 1972. :)

CTA513

I think he draws names out of the hat and sticks with that lineup most of the time, except when players off the bench start. ;)

Why bother complaining anymore.........Narron is old school and the veterans get the best positions in the lineup. It's like Grandpa Simpson makes the lineups.I wasn't holding out hope he would fix it but I honestly didn't think he would make it worse.

This lineup has trade shine written all over it. Unfortunately, we have to live through it until the 31st.

Tony Cloninger
07-22-2005, 06:41 PM
Yet in some games....he does do the right thing.

Hopefully when RA is gone....Randa.....even Casey....then Dunn can bat maybe 5th.... :p:

What happened to the bat Dunn 2nd experiment?

Just looking at some numbers.

During the off-season (and continuing into this season), quite a few people predicted that if Dunn could cut down the K's he'd be more productive.

Well, he's on pace to K 20 times less then last year (176 vs 195) (assuming the same number of PA's) but he's also on pace to create 4 less runs. (120.6 vs 124.9)

Just sayin.
