No Dunn.

I doubt if I follow the whole game tonight. It's really no fun watching your top hitter sit on the bench once a week while the likes of Aurilia and Casey play everyday.

Edit...nevermind. Just saw the post below.

Elam

Reason's for the different lineup per Marc:

LOS ANGELES -- No Dunn, no Felipe in tonight's lineup.

Jerry Narron just wants to give Felipe a bit of a break after starting 67 of the last 68 games at short. Dunn also has been in there quite a bit, but he was due for some down time for another reason.

"Dunner doesn’t complain and doesn’t say a word, but he fouled a couple balls off his leg the other night in the same place," said Narron. "He really needed a day off Saturday or Sunday, we just didn’t feel like we could do it."

Dunn does indeed have a large, nasty yellowish welt along the inside of his right knee, but he hasn't said a word about it.

I've been waiting for the price of Direct TV high def tivo's to go down before switching back from Time Warner digital high def pvr. If you don't mind my asking, how much are the receivers now?

I've been waiting for the price of Direct TV high def tivo's to go down before switching back from Time Warner digital high def pvr. If you don't mind my asking, how much are the receivers now?

I got a deal on it. Best Buy had inadvertly had 50 percent off Tivo hardware. No where on the coupon that stated the Directv High Def Tivo was excluded. So I got 50 percent off the regular price of 700 = $350
I than called Directv and got a $250 credit for buying a Hi Def Tivo reciever
I also got free Showtime for 6 months and HBO for $2.00 for 6 months.
Also got the Hi Def package for 5 bucks for 6 bucks.

So I pretty much broke even on the deal. Not to mention I can sell my old Hi Def reciever on Ebay for more dollars back.

Wow, that's a heck of a deal. The only reason I left Direct TV was for high def with Time Warner, where they provide the equipment.

If prices continue to drop, I'll go back to Direct TV next spring. I'm already paid up for baseball. How does the high def programming compare? TW has 2 INHD channels and HDNet in addition to network stuff.

They have HBO HD, SHO HD, ESPN HD, Universal/Bravo HD, Discovery HD, HDNet, HD Movies, and with the Extra Innings Package you get HD games when available. HD NFL (select games) for an extra fee starting this fall.

Aurilla is hitting .344 with RISP, best on the Reds.

The Reds are 10-11 in Milton's starts this year, as he tries to even up the Reds record in his starts. That means the Reds are 6-1 in his no descisions.

well, for those that think Marty never gets on the pitchers, he made an effort to remind us that Milton has already blown one run leads twice in this game, and his tone implied he'd probably do it again.

Marty doesn't blame the pitching as a whole. He won't say... golly gee we give up almost 6 runs a game EVERY DAY.

He blames guys here and there and leans on the situational hitting and small ball aspects as being the missing corner piece of this jigsaw puzzle.
