So we are back to RA has to play everyday and now EE gets to pay the price for it.

RA doesn't make many errors, 'cause you can't make a throwing error if you don't field it first and you can't make a fielding error if you don't get to it.

Still...I really love beating the Cubs. GO REDS!

reds44
08-08-2005, 07:12 PM
Nice move by Narron. Felipe has struggled in the 2 spot as of late and was tearing it up batting leadoff.

Why do you play the old man over your number 1 prospect? I have no idea. We should have the upperhand on the Cubs tonight see as how they played at New York last night and probably did not get in until real late.

GO REDS!

Giving EdE a night off, and keeping RA's value where it is, maybe even up it a little. I don't have too much a problem with the move, especially since the offense has fallen off of late. Look for Freel to get a night off next, and RA to start in his place as well. RA's value is as a backup, might as well let him fulfill it.

Dunn is insane.

By the end of the season, Dunn should be in the top ten in Reds history in home runs, with a shot at getting to #6 next season (ahead of Eric Davis, Barry Larkin, and Vada Pinson).

Two more seasons with the Reds could get him past Kluszewski into the top four, with only Tony Perez, Frank Robinson, and Johnny Bench ahead of him.

Wow.

Well, the franchise is positively snakebitten when it comes to getting good value out of multi-year contracts, and I imagine that makes up part of their thinkings...

Which 3 players had the most rbi's of the 1970s?

In case soemone lost sleep over the answer to this,it is:

Johnny Bench
Tony Perez
Lee May

"The Big Bopper" was a little surprising for me. I looked at his stats and he was very consistent like Perez. His "poorest" RBI years in the 70's was 1974 with 85, 1978 with 80 and 1979 with 69. Every other year he was in the 90's or over 100.
