Narron's lineups are boring......nothing to complain about. :D

I guess the RA at 2nd spot can be 1 but it's not like he has been bad there.

I think people miss the days of wondering if a Reggie Taylor or Jason Romano would play for a "tired" Griffey.

I see Casey's back in the lineup tonight. Have to wonder if the reports that surfaced this week about his shoulder are true and being ignored or it's an excuse. Whatever the case, you do have to wonder what his health situation is.

Someone mention Olmedo doing damage. Since that little packet of time when he was hitting nearly 1.000, he's been clueless at the plate, so I doubt damage will be part of his game tonight. And playing Rey, a career bench player ahead of EdE is a crime. If anyone should be sitting it would be Rich. Of course, everyone in the FO thinks we need Rich. I think we need to get EdE as many at-bats as possible.

Why? If it's a good pitch he thinks he can hit hard, it's better than getting down 0-1.

I like for the leadoff hitter to make the pitcher throw a few pitches to show the other hitters what kind of stuff he has. Lopez usually does a good job of that.

This game all boils down to two reliever both of them going in the same direction. DOWN .

Standridge and Coffey:

IP - 1/3
H - 5
R - 5
ER - 5
BB - 2
K - 1
ERA - 125.00

Looks like a Graves performance. Ugh!

Let them sit awhile. Bring up some arms if possible. Keisler is a human hitting machine, but at least we expect that from him.

P.S. Top 4 of the lineup 3-14 (with Griffey having two of the hits. Botton 4 (not counting Harang) 4-14. Lopez and Dunn swinging early (what's up with that?). Not a good performance (Doh!)

I know this is a REds board......BUT let me give you example NO. 1 of why i hate the modern manager.

Vasquez has less than 80 pitches in 8 innings.....and you take him out??
You would think after overworking a bullpen last night......that he has enough to finish the game at less than 80 pitches. You think anyone else in that bullpen could have pitched any better than your starter? .....Melvin?

And these Reds hitters........clueless as to the fact....that the D-backs bullpen was wasted last night......so you swing at anything?

Maybe they were tired and brain dead.
