Thought I would write a little song to get everyone in the holiday spirit...RedsZone style. :thumbup:

Although some of my Christmas wishes for DanO are far-fetched, I still think this song will give us Reds fans hope for the future. Feel free to use this song at your upcoming Christmas parties if you wish. Also, do not hesitate to add your own version. :D

To avoid the monotony and to save space, I will skip to the 12th day:

On the 12th day of Christmas, please DanO give to me:

12 - hits per game
11 - series sweeps
10 - game lead by late September
9 - defensive players
8 - solid hitters
7 - inning pitchers
6 - World Series Rings (1919, 1940, 1975, 1976, 1990 & 2006)
5 - MORE YEARS FOR DUNN!!!
4 - stolen bases (per game)
3 - outs an inning (for defense)
2 - more starting pitchers
and...
1 - VERY HEAL-THY GRI-FFEY!!!

I'm caught between laughing and wanting to choke you for getting that christmas- beast-that-devours-all ball rolling.

I actually started hearing christmas songs on the radio two weeks ago. :bang:

They'll soon have to rename that song to 'The 12 Months of Christmas'.

Thought I would bump this to see how my Christmas list for last year fared...

12 - hits per game (sometimes)
11 - series sweeps(not quite)
10 - game lead by late September (not even close)
9 - defensive players (not really)
8 - solid hitters (I believe so)
7 - inning pitchers (two of them HARANG and ARROYO)
6 - World Series Rings (1919, 1940, 1975, 1976, 1990 & 2006) (NOT!!!)
5 - MORE YEARS FOR DUNN!!! (only 2)
4 - stolen bases (per game) (getting there)
3 - outs an inning (for defense) (better as the year progressed)
2 - more starting pitchers (should have asked for two more QUALITY starting pitchers)
and...
1 - VERY HEAL-THY GRI-FFEY!!! (oh well...)

If I would have just received HALF of this list, I believe the REDS would be playing in the NLCS (IMO).

I will try to be better this year, so Santa will give me what I want...although I am afraid my fate is already sealed :thumbup:
