Sent outright pitcher Josh Hancock to Louisville of the International League (AAA). Looks like He must have cleared waivers. This is good news.

In the family

Because it's earth-shattering stuff, I need to be sure to pass along the news that Josh Hancock has cleared waivers and accepted an outright assignment to Louisville. He'll be in big-league camp during spring training with a chance to make the team as a swingman.

Hancock pitched well after he came back late in the year, at least he'll be given a chance to prove whether last year was a fluke or not.

I think Hancock is better than Standrige also. Hey Boss Hog ! How can I get posting rights on ORG?

Hancock flopped in the Venezuelan Winter League (as a starter) and was sent packing.

Maybe, but I'm just tired of the same retreads where the best hope is an era of around 4.50 :(

Since he cleared waivers that means no one else wanted our castoff. That's not really that comforting that we have someone in Louisville that everyone else took a pass on.
