Are Jim Bowden and Dan O Brien related? They seem to acquire former players that never panned out on their previous team in hopes that they pan out now.

Yeah. Brandon Larson is the poster boy for the guy with all the talent in the world, but pissed it away because he was more into the "big league" lifestyle.
