I'd say 30-33, higher if he plays every day, but I am still afraid that Jerry will try to work in a lot of ABs for the 4th OF, if everyone stays healthy. That may cut into WMP's ABs and ability to get comfortable and settle in at the plate.

Holy crap! Let's all have a prayer session in hopes that this will carry over into the season. He's definitely raised the bar for himself with all this talk of 30 homers being too wimpy and amazing new patience. We'd probably have the gratest offense in historoy if he pulled off a .350OBP / 40 homer season!

I'm expecting him to walk a little more often than his rate in the past because A.) Edwin will likely bat behind him often B.) His offseason work on this front C.) Knowing the pitchers a little better and D.) He was always more comfortable, i.e. patient at the plate when he was starting. Having said that I don't expect more than 35 for a lot of the same reasons, plus the fact that his swing is likely to still include some holes. And I will say somewhere around 50 walks.
