Was uploading some photos last night, and came across this one...the Honeymoon thread got me thinking about it.

This is me and the future Mrs. enjoying a pint at the Young and Jacksons pub in Melbourne, Australia. You can't see them, but there was a very loud and loyal group of rugby fans next door to us who were VERY into the game they were watching. We left moments before the chairs started flying. :)

Actually, I'm struggling in AA and she's a scrappy vet who knows how to win. ;)

Indeed she is! :D

BTW, thanks to everyone for the well-wishes, I really appreciate it. Currently reading "The Groom's Survival Manual" and putting together the "Do Not Play" list for the DJ.

Unfortunately, I think she's going to want that one played, TR. She's got a bit of a country streak...

Although, I do have a standing offer: if she promises not to play any country music at the reception, I'll refrain from playing any Rush. I think that's fair.

But she does not like Brooks and Dunn, thankfully. Something about being country wannabes...

I don't. It's just not a wedding reception without playing Rush's "Working Man" or "Red Baretta".

It's all about tradition man! :D

He may need one if he doesn't have a year this year.

LOL

if I did that, she would completely quash my hopes of making it to a game at Pac Bell while I'm in San Fran.
