Was this the final roster move the Reds made? Guess whatever trade they'd been rumored to have been working on must not have shaped up.

I wouldn't be shocked if something still doesn't happen before long. I don't think they're done tinkering. Just my opinion.

I think is was so they could open a 40 man roster spot to put in a claim on some others that are being DFA'd.

I don't think it matters much, but I don't understand why it was so important to acquire Ross when they already had a younger and better defensive (so I thought) defensive specialist in Dane.

He wasn't claimed the previous two times he was DFA'd. There's been little to indicate that he's changed, except that Jim Bowden's with another organization and might be paying attention to details that day.

I wouldn't cry if he gets claimed. I think Perez is almost a clone of his and younger.

The reason is because they needed to get Andy Abad onto the roster. Dane was going to have to go trough the waiver wire anyway so this way they got the roster spot as well.

as stated he's gone through wavers before and nobody picked him up i don't think anybody will now i hope he has his plane ticket to louisville

He may not get claimed, but I could see him being part of a package used in a trade.
