I couldn't stop laghing out loud when I read this stuff. Thought I'd share the fun with everyone here. Let's hope Narron and Weathers don't try to recreate the magic this year.

I love when Sportscenter shows clips of Sweet Lou flipping out. Hilarious. Best hat kicker ever. In fact, I love watching when any manager flips out. I can't imagine getting that mad. It's a funny image, a middle-aged, slightly overweight man, squeezed into a tight baseball uniform jumping around a ball field absolutley losing his mind. Kick something, scream a little, pull a base out of the ground and throw it. Pure entertainment.

First, it's completely irrational. Dibble was bigger, stronger, crazier, meaner and 20 years younger than Piniella. Send him to the minors. Fine him. Suspend him. But attack him? Pure lunacy.

This from the article at Fox. I am not sure I agree with this. Was Dibble crazier or meaner than Sweet Lou? I give the crazy and mean edge to Sweet Lou... not even close!

Sometimes dynamite comes in smaller packages.

The Woody Hayes was one of the best. I still remember, while watching that game, when it happened. I looked at my brother and said "Did Hayes just tackle that guy???"

Another classic with Lou was the one where he really punished the 1st base bag... only to finally pick it up and throw it into the OF.

But no Bobby Knight huh?

Or...
