We've heard he's short, but no other pitcher in the Reds system drafted prior to 2003 has had the success that Medlock has. Yeah, I know, that's not saying much, but one thing is for sure - this kid has consistently been solid each step of the way. Maybe his ceiling is nothing more than set-up or middle reliever, but you gotta think he's not far from making the big club, especially with the bullpen they have right now.

Best case: Tom "Flash" Gordon
