Serves up a HR on an 0-2 pitch to Colby Rasmus to tie the game.
Next batter grounds out to the second baseman.
Cueto strikes out the 4th batter of the inning.

Bruce is on fire. Now hitting .340/.407/.642 - and keep in mind that he went through a 0-for-18 slump not too long ago.

Yeah he is OBM, I think he is well out of that slump now. Since that slump he has been tearing the cover off of the baseball.

Cueto strikes out one of the best named baseball players ever in my opinion, Wes Swackhammer, on three pitches.
I missed how the next out came to, but it happened.
Back to the top of the lineup and Cueto walks his first batter of the year. That makes his k/bb ratio 18/1. Not shabby.
Announcer says Cueto throws his fastball at 95 and his changeup at 75. He has also been praising his curve tonight.
Rasmus gets an opposite field single, Nelson advances to 2nd base.
Van Slyke grounds out to the first baseman who tossed to Ceuto to end the inning.
Dayton up 2-1.

Bobby Mosby pops up on the infield to the first baseman.
Cabrera grounds to the third baseman, who boots the ball. Reached on an error.
Chris Denove comes up and hits a hard shot at first base who let it go in and out. Announcer says he would score it a hit, but the official scorer disagrees. Denove reaches on an error by the first baseman.

Through 3 1/2, Dragons lead 2-1.

Cueto sounds like he could be a good one. Mid 90's fastball, a changeup that he throws 20 mph slower than his fastball, and a good curveball. Sounds like he has command of all three pitches, which is a big plus.

Missed what happened due to some dog issues, but its now tied at 2.
Dragons are batting and Eric Eymann was hit by a pitch with 1 out.

Very surprised by Vazquez. I saw him when Dayton came up to South Bend last year, and wasn't particularly impressed, but he's really done a great job with his command so far this year. Actually sat right behind him and Rafeal Gonzalez(I think) at one of those games.

Maybe CV has rebuilt his arm strength after TJ. He was only topping out at 90-91, maybe he is back up to 93-94.

BJ Szymanski leads off the inning with a triple to the wall. Lets hope this leads to him coming out of this huge slump he has had to start the season.
Bobby Mosby hits a ball over the third base bag, cruises in for a double. Szymanski scores easily to take the lead 3-2.
Pitching change.

That might be it. I only saw him twice, earlier in the year and then later in the summer. Regardless, its nice to see him throwing better and getting better control.
