First of all Wagner:

7.1 IP, 12 hits, 6 er, 4 walks, 7.36 ERA

Anybody starting to get worried about him? He seems to have really good "stuff" but can't seem to put it all together. What is the problem?

Chris Michalak:
Surprised there isn't more talk about him. 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA for the Bats. Does anybody have any background info on him? He is in his mid-30's and there has to be a reason he is in AAA. Has he just been a career minor leaguer and those stats he is putting up are decieving, or maybe do we have something?

Thanks in advance!

Michalak is 35 and he pitched in Louisville in 2003. I was reading he has some kind of really good pickoff move, I've never seen it so I have no idea what it looks like.

Here are his major and minor league stats.

Not too worried about Wagner yet. However, I could see Krivsky using him to get a better player in a trade with a catcher/infielder.

i saw michalak pitch in ST this year, and he is a junk thrower. he throws side arm, and not very hard. however, i didn't get to see his pickoff move, because he k'd all 3 batters he faced.

I'm about ready to give up on Wagner and hope he gets traded, chance of scenery might be the best option at this point.

While I'm not ready to give up on him just yet, a change of scenery may do good for him.
