I do however think you put your team leader in RBI's in the lineup against Oswalt. However I understand not wanting that young of a bat in there vs One of if not The best Pitcher in the NL.

I usually get them from Foxsports.com. They seem to post them earlier than most sites.

I think Kearns has a chance to do BETTER in that #6 Slot than Edwin :)

I've come to grips with the fact that I'll never like Aurilia, no matter how well he does.... and you know, I'm okay with that.

The Derrek Lee-less Chicago Cubs seemed to have no problem with Milwaukee's David Bush, flogging him for ten hits and five earned runs in six innings of a 6-2 win at Wrigley today.

That makes the Cubs 4-1 in the five games since they DLed Lee. And Michael Barrett has missed the last couple of games also.

Once again Narron sits EE while he is hitting well...but Dunn played everyday even when he couldn't buy a hit at the plate. :dunno: You would Narron would want his best hitters in there against Roy Oswalt. Guess not.

What the hell was that Dunn? He swung at a 3-2 pitch at his eyes and fouled it off, next pitch a poor swing on a changeup, 2 down.

Should have walked again. Also the ump once again screwed him by calling a pitch 4 inches off the plate a strike. I wish every ump was like that one the Reds had Monday night in Washington.

I have noticed the Reds pitching more intentionally up in the zone this year. It is refreshing to see. There is room to pitch up there if you are working as all areas of the zone.

It's amazing how quickly Claussen can lose his control.

When he's on he's good -- but he hasn't found consistancy this season, and it doesn't usually last more than a couple of innings.

Dunn just doesn't get good breaks; his body is built for first-base. Nice effort, though.

hehe, my comment was just a general observation, I don't know how many 6'6" 250+ pd OF'ers there are in MLB, I don't really expect him to make sliding basket catches.

Two starts of 5 IP, 3 ER. Not great.

7 shutout innings, great.

Last outing was horrific. This start has been average. Way too many walks. I was expecting more out of him.

That's why the Texans stink every year. Williams is a good player, Bush is a HoF talent. You don't pass on a rare talent like Bush.

BC never fit in with DanO's pitch to contact stuff, he walks far to many. If we had a better option, I'd gladly trot them out, but BC just gets too wild for my taste too often.
