before the season IIRC, FSN was going to TV 100 Reds games. If you go to the Reds website( reds.mlb.com) and click on schedule and go through the months and count up the FSN games there are more than 100 games supposedly to be on TV in just May thru September so the TV scedule on the site has changed because there weren't that many TV games on their schedule.

Was there ever an announcement of this?
Did anyone else notice the change?

You are right there are way more games listed on that schedule than before. The next few months it looks every game at night is on TV. I never heard an announcement but this is great news. It looks like we are now up to about 115 total games on FSN and one game on Fox so far. Hopefully if the team keeps playing well they will keep adding broadcasts.

I heard them say the Reds and FSN worked out a deal to get more games on TV.

George said they would be adding more games as the year goes on so we may end up with even more than the 115 listed now.

George said they would provide more information on that tomorrow.

this may have something to do with the indians being on STO now instead of fox ohio. in any case its great news.

I know its an issue of $$ but you would think FSN would get a lot more viewers by broadcasting a Reds game as opposed to a Crew soccer game, college softball, cockfighting or whatever garbage they try to put on instead of the Reds. No reason not to have every game on TV.

Just for the record, according to my DirecTV guide, the game is indeed on TV today!! :beerme:

Can't promise anything as these things are wrong from time to time...but it may be worth flipping over to FSN this afternoon.

Last season, I think they broadcast 105 on FSN. 45 home and 60 road games I believe.
