Dragons are up 2-0 in the top of the 3rd off a Jay Bruce HR, his 4th of the season and second in as many games. Johnny Cueto is on the mound for the Dragons and has gone 2 innings of 1 hit, 1k baseball so far. Dragons play a double header today.

BJ Szymanski didnt like the fact that Jay Bruce had as many home runs as he did, so he just hit one out to make it 3-0 Dragons.

Cueto entered this season not even in BA top 30 Reds prospects, I would say he is well on his way to making it up to the top 15 easy. Does anyone have a scouting report on him? I havent seen him pitch and I am wondering how good all of his stuff is? I know he has a slider that sounds pretty good, but anyone who has actually seen him throw this year have some information on him?

Cueto walked two hitters to lead off the 6th before being removed. Bullpen came in and let them both score. Cueto charged with 2 runs in todays game.

Well the Dragons bullpen has been horrible this year. now a tie game, 3-3 in the 6th inning, with a runner on second and 1 out.

Did Cueto start the 6th?

Yes he did, he walked the first two hitters. He was then taken out, both runners ended up scoring thanks to back to back doubles and then a single that helped tie the game.

Paul Janish hits a HR in the top 0f the 7th to take the lead in what could be the last inning. Dragons up 4-3 and still batting.

Dragons won the first game 4-3.

In the second game, its the top of the first. I missed how Griffing got on, but he scored on a double from first by Paul Janish, who was thrown out at third. Jay Bruce then hit a double.

Chattanooga wins 4-3 tonight. Valdez gets the win after 6 innings of 6 hit baseball and allowing 3 runs. The bullpen of Nannini, Coutlangus and Shafer combined for 3 innings of no hit baseball to close it up.

Wow, a 1:1 K:BB ratio...that's EXACTLY what you want to see as he matches up with minor league hitters...yuck.

Dayton has good talent there until you get to the bullpen. They bullpen has blown at least 6 games for them already. Do take notice who they played though. Burlington is now 9-17, not exactly the cream of the crop and had a team batting average of .209 at one point during one of yesterdays game for the season.

Dayton's figured out how to circumvent some of this bullpen problem: play shorter games.

They've won four straight seven-inning makeup contests to even their season record at 13-13.
