Terrance Long was released from AAA Louisville.

Perhaps he requested the move. Long was hitting .229/.260/.292 in 48 at-bats for Louisville.

Paul Wilson, who is on the DL recovering from right rotator cuff surgery, was scratched from a scheduled Sunday start for Triple-A Louisville because of shoulder fatigue.
Wilson didn't have close to his old velocity in his start on Tuesday. The Reds shouldn't be counting on him to contribute.

Cody Ross (finger) began a minor league rehab assignment Friday at Triple-A.
Ross was hit on the finger by a pitch in his Reds debut last month
