If a pitcher is brought in to face only one hitter and then removed, his replacement should be allowed no "warm up" pitches upon taking the mound.

In the last 3 years, Dunn has posted a 1.132 OPS after going 3-0.

Just sayin'.

Juan Castro has a .879 OPS in the last three years ago getting ahead 3-0.;)

Most hitters have huge numbers after getting ahead 3-0. But Dunn, especially this year, just seems like he always finds a way to get an out after getting ahead 3-0.

I'm not bashing the guy - dude's my favorite player of all-time, but that is a situation where he should be a lock to get on base.

When he's dialing the heat to 95 with a fastball, that change he throws can be absolutely devestating.

Coffey is an enigmatic pitcher -- he just really doesn't seem to trust his secondary pitches. He's made good hitters look downright silly on his change and his splitter, but just doesn't seem like he throws them as often as he could.
