Q hitting leadoff? Thank God Denofria was sent back down.
If Griffey can't play more than 2 days in a row at this point, I would rather have Deno up here getting ABs then getting the 4-0-0-0 from Phil.

I'm alittle surprised Junior's not playing tonight. I figured he'd play tonight but have tomorrow off, being a day game after a night game and all.

I've brought this up numerous times on this board, and it seems like a lot of people are enamored with Hatte's OBP, giving EE more RBI chances.

I don't see why it is such a big deal to let the bench players get a start every now and then. McCracken has been a pretty good addition to this team off the bench. At least Narron is pretty consistent with his lineup.

Hatte's biggest attribute is walking. So, if we are to say that EE will benefit from Hatte's superhuman OBP, he has to hit an HR b/c Lord knows Scott isn't scoring from 1st on anything else. And since EE has 6 HRs in 33 games, the odds aren't in our favor.
Personally I'd rather see EE get up more than Hatteberg. And Crack for that matter.
Guaranteed after I say this EE hits 2 dingers with Hatte on first tonight. And I will take that anytime.

That's, naturally, assuming Hatteberg doesn't push a runner into scoring position by taking a walk or keeping an inning alive with a man on 2nd or 3rd for EE to get an opportunity with runners on.
Gotta think 4th dimensionally.

A guy is at the game with his significant other and she asks him in a very loud dumb blonde voice (even though she was a brunette):
"Griffey looks a lot shorter and they got 'McCracken' on his jersey"
Guy turns to her and gives her a stare that says "shut up" without saying a word.
Then, she looks back at the field and says:
"They must have lost his jersey or something and he had to wear that one."
My friend said the guy was so embarassed that he got up with her and left. :D
