Shake up time...I think Dunn should take a seat for a game or two. Same with LaRue, except maybe he should sit for more than that. Get Q out of here and bring up Denofria. Cut the whole BP except Coffey and Weathers.

In 30 years, I've pitched a total of approximately 15 innings of competitive baseball and I think I could take the hill in Pittsburgh tonight and rack up a half dozen Ks. I hope they snap out of this team-wide funk soon.

Teams are pitching us differnt i think.

MORE STRIKES!! Less balls.. they are forcing us to hit, and we aint stepping up. That is the main problem with our offense of late.Maholm is locating all three of his pitches tonight. He has a really good curve and his fastball seems to have more velocity than usual. The Reds let him off the hook in the first and combined with the error are going to pay for it with a loss

If your hitting below the Mendoza line, it sure does matter. I mean .225 with a solid OPS is one thing but a BUCK 96! send in the clowns

Just don't mention RISP on this forum or you will get reamed. We created a 1/4 run... be happy about it.

The Pirates have hit 9 balls in play this game, and have 6 baserunners to show for it.

Harang has had really bad luck on his BIPA today.

7 K's, no walks, should spell success.

Thier saying theres only 30-40 mins of this rain then clear skys for the night.

So at worst we just get ssome delay then a chance :(

You know the worst part about 2nite. This game HURTS. We gotta quit losing to teams we SHOULD BEAT. It's gonna happen here and there and 2nite is a prime example of how ONE ERROR can cost you big.

4 unearned runs ????? this is a 0-0 game IMO.

Sad part is we cant pin these lose's on any ONE or TWO players. We have lost 3 in a row now as a TEAM!!!

Which means soon we can win as a team again too.

Aurilia on the DL
JR Back
Milton on the DL
Larue Back

these are 4 things that have happend this month.. maybe we should go back to a few of those late April lineups that produced runs

Bye bye.

Jump off the bandwagon of the team 8 games over.

I was never ON the bandwagon 44. I pointed to this result two weeks ago in a thread about a trade with the Marlins.

There never WAS a bandwagon for anyone who realized this team was probably going to set a record for badness with the glove.

I am not now nor was I EVER a Narron fan......people have talking about how important fundamentals are to this guy....I don't see it...never have. If I watch this team from the dugout for just ONE game I would have their collective butts on the field at 6:00 AM for fielding practice.....every single day.

I would have the pitchers bunting for 12 hours at a time until they proved to me they could actually do it.

I find it fundamentally incredible that a ML team can screw up the basics of baseball as bad as this team can. When was the last time you saw a player picked off 2nd base....flat footed, by a pitcher who just stepped of the rubber and turned around? I cannot remember seeing it before.

These are NOT motivaed, prepared, trained, nothing.......

How many YEARS has this been going on? Years.....

Forget about bandwagons......unless you want to rename it BADwagon.

If Dunn and Kearns want to be top level mid-order hitters they need to step it up. They are both inconsistent. Neither has hit during this team slump. Kearns is having a good year, Dunn not, but now is when these "leaders" need to step it up. Team cannot rely on Brandon Phillips for offense; that's supposed to be the Dunn/Kearns department.

Ok everyone, this is where the Reds show if they've got what it takes. They had a lot of luck early on and were going to get a losing streak eventually. Now we see if they have that powerful desire to make every play count like they're in the world series. I'm not being negative here, this is just saying that they were cruising early on but now they have to put their own wind into the sails. I think they can do it but they need the desire of the likes of Freel and Arroyo to pull it off.

You could credit some of the struggles to Larue's crying about playing time? Just an Idea.....lol not saying it IS him just saying it could be.. possibly caused some drama or some "splitting of thoughts" between a small group of players

Define crying. He mentioned he signed here to be a starter most games, which he hasn't been. LaRue needs to take Ross' place for Arroyo whether he likes it or not. Ross should not be getting starts. It seems like LaRue has an understandable beef.

I don't think people are necessarily jumping off the bandwagon, as much as they are frustrated with the false hope this team has given in the last 5 years. They start off well, stay in contention, and then the wheels fall off. The only difference, and as fans we can only hope is that the new front office won't put up with this, and will bring people in who will win. As someone stated in an earlier post, there isn't anyone out there worth getting, and teams are not going to start selling players until they are out of contention. I'm not throwing in the towel, but don't expect anything a title yet. It's going to take some time, since Bowden, Allen, Lindner, and O' Brien put this organization back 10 years.
