That's a perfect object lesson in why Dunn's AB was much better than Kearns; Dunn walks (prevents making an out) to turn it over to a righty, Enc. Kearns hacks away, gets the RBI, but makes an out. Looks are frequently deceiving, and RBI are a pointless statistic for measuring the strength of any particular AB.

I don't know how many times I have to say it: look at his game by game log--his OPS is slowly but steadily bottoming out. By June 1 it will be right in line with his career average, which is an average right fielder.

He looks like the same hitter as last season who happened to start on a hot streak this season.

I didn't see it, but Griffey still has the ability to get to balls. He just doesn't go all out b/c he knows the consequences. He is shell shocked in CF. He should volunteer to move to LF for the best of the team.
